Medical & Operational Device Scan

$49.00

Finds the medical and operational devices on your network.

What it is

Listens for the devices on the network you are on and sorts them by class: imaging, infusion pumps, monitors, building controls, cameras, badge readers, printers, storage and phones. It reads one web page per device and never logs in. Nothing is changed.

A clinic, plant or office fills up with devices nobody manages: an ultrasound cart, a thermostat controller, a camera, a label printer. Many ship with a default password and sit on the same network as the computers that hold your records. This scan tells you which classes are there, which share your network, and which answer a management page.

What it checks

  • Medical, building and operational devices on the network you are on, by class (imaging, infusion pumps, patient monitors, HVAC, controllers, label printers, cameras, badge readers, printers, storage, phones)
  • Device classes known to ship with default passwords (inferred from the class; no password is ever tried)
  • Management web pages answering on port 80, 443, 8080 or 8443 (read as a browser would; no login, no device protocol spoken)
  • Whether such devices share one flat network with your workstations

Who it is for

  • A practice, clinic or lab with devices on the office network
  • A plant or warehouse where controllers and scanners share the network
  • A school or office with cameras, badge readers and printers

What it never does

It never changes a setting, installs anything, tries a password or signs in to an account. Where a check reads inside files it reports counts only — never a value, a file name or a path. Nothing is exploited and no credential is guessed. Your own answers are recorded as yours and never upgraded into something the scan observed.
