What it replaces
An IT provider charges $1,000–$2,000 for one automated vulnerability assessment and $2,000–$4,000 for a standard one. A lightweight virtual-CISO retainer that includes quarterly reviews runs $2,000 a month and up. This is four documented reviews a year for $599 — automated, run on your own machine, and producing exactly the multi-factor, backup and patching evidence a cyber-insurance application asks for. A business already paying a four-figure annual premium is buying the evidence that keeps that policy honest.
How the annual plan works
The first run happens when you are ready. The launcher schedules itself every 90 days using the answers you already gave. Four reports over twelve months, each compared against the last.
What you get, every quarter
- One written PDF report emailed back to you, typically within one business day of each run.
- A score for every surface — endpoint, network, perimeter, email, identity — plus a combined business picture.
- A resolved / still open / newly found comparison against your previous run.
- Attack-chain analysis across all ten scans, showing how separate findings assemble into a real intrusion path.
- An executive summary written for an owner, a board or an insurer.
- A 90-day security programme, re-prioritised each quarter.
- Reporting built to CompTIA Security+ and PenTest+ practice standards.
Choosing your option
Annual Plan — four scheduled runs over twelve months with trend reporting. Single Run — one run, one report, no scheduling.
Requirements
- Windows 10 or Windows 11
- Run as administrator
- An internet connection
- Your domain and public address — you must own them or be authorised to test them
- About 50 minutes for the first run; later runs are unattended
What this is not
QuickScan is detection and advisory only. Nothing here exploits a weakness or changes a setting. Part of the Insider Risk assessment is based on your own answers, and the report states which findings came from you rather than from observation. It is not a certification, an audit, an attestation, or insurance advice — if a report surfaces a complete attack path, it says so and points you to ThreatVector's hands-on engagement.
Your report is prepared with AI-assisted analysis under ThreatVector's security review protocols and checked against our false-positive triage rules before it is sent.
