App Development Security Scan – 5 Scans of the Code You Ship, One Report

Sale price  $199.00 Regular price $275.00

By purchasing you agree to our Terms of Service, including your responsibility to run scans only against systems you own or are authorised in writing to test.

The security of the code you ship, and everything it depends on — in one run.

The App Development Security Scan is built for a solo developer or a small dev shop. It reads a code project on this computer and asks the OSV vulnerability database which of your dependencies have known holes, leading with the ones that have a fix you can install today. It reads your build pipeline for the patterns that let a stranger's pull request run with your secrets. It searches your working tree and your git history for credentials, checks the certificate on your site, and looks for publicly listable cloud buckets. No secret is ever written into the report — only a masked fragment.

What's included

  • Dependency & Supply-Chain Vulnerability Scan — known-vulnerable packages, checked against OSV.dev ($79)
  • Source Control & CI/CD Hygiene Check — pipeline takeover patterns, unpinned actions, git hygiene ($69)
  • Code & Secrets Scanner — credentials in your working tree and git history ($59)
  • Certificate & Encryption Check — expiry, issuer, protocol and cipher strength ($19)
  • Cloud Storage Exposure Check — publicly listable or readable buckets ($49)

Bought separately: $275. This scan: $199.

Why the scan beats five separate scans

The chain this scan hunts for is specific: a key leaked into git history that is still live, that still opens the bucket your pipeline deploys to, from a workflow a stranger can trigger. Each of the five scans sees one link; only the combined report sees the chain. Findings are mapped to OWASP ASVS, with NIST SSDF as the alternate framing, so you have something to show a client's security questionnaire. The Linux Server Hardening Check is the recommended companion for anyone running their own server and is sold separately, because it cannot run from a Windows package.

What you get

  • One written PDF report emailed back to you, typically within one business day.
  • A per-surface score — dependencies, pipeline, secrets, transport, storage — and a combined picture of the code you ship.
  • Attack-chain analysis showing how the findings combine into one route in.
  • Cross-scan corroboration, so a finding seen by three scans appears once, marked confirmed, instead of three times.
  • Named coverage gaps for anything that could not be checked — never quietly counted as a pass.
  • A 90-day remediation plan ordered by what an attacker reaches for first.
  • An executive summary you can hand to a client, an insurer or an acquirer.
  • Reporting built to CompTIA Security+ and PenTest+ practice standards.

Who it's for

Solo developers, small product teams, agencies that ship code for clients, and business owners who had an application built for them and want to know what they now own.

Requirements

  • Windows 10 or Windows 11
  • No administrator rights needed
  • An internet connection
  • A local checkout of the project, and your domain name
  • About 20 minutes
  • You must own or be authorised to scan the code, domain and storage you enter

What this is not

QuickScan is detection and advisory only. Nothing in this scan uploads your source code, installs or runs a package, executes a workflow, tests whether a credential works, or changes anything in your repository. Mapping to a framework is not an audit against it. It is not a certification, an audit or an attestation.
